Chateau de Malliac Wedding Photography

Chateau de Malliac Wedding Photographer

When Natalie and Suneal asked us do their Chateau de Malliac Wedding Photography we were absolutely delighted. Chateau de Malliac is a beautifully preserved chateau just outside Montreal in South West France situated in the gastronomic heartland of France. The Aude region is known for is beautiful rustic elegance with a landscape dotted with fields of sunflowers and unbelievably quaint villages.

Wedding Photography at Chateau de Malliac

Chateau Malliac was built in the 12th century set in the most amazing grounds. Acres of manicured gardens, courtyards, turrets and maze of rooms are typical of French chateaus of from this period. Chateau de Malliac really is a wedding Photographer’s dream. The day started with the bride and her bridesmaids doing hair and makeup in the absolutely stunning master bedroom. A beautifully decorated room flooded with light overlooking the pool and chateau grounds. Natalie looked so beautiful in her Pronovias wedding dress, Jimmy Choo shoes and wild rose bouquet. A short walk through the main courtyard under the arches on to the front lawn it was time for the wedding ceremony.

The sun was shining as Natalie and her father walked arm in arm down the aisle. The ceremony was conducted by the best man and one of the bride and grooms oldest friends. What ensued was a perfectly intimate celebration of the love these two share. A couple of personalized readings, a first kiss and confetti it was time for the party to begin. Whilst the sun set and the guests enjoyed some unbelievable champagne, wine and aperitifs we snuck off to capture some intimate portraits of the bride and groom. The only problem with photographing a wedding at Chateau de Malliac is the abundance of shoot locations. You could easily spend a couple of hours in this one of a kind venue.

Chateau de Malliac wedding Reception

Wedding reception venues don’t come much better than Chateau de Malliac. Reception drinks were held on the front lawn perfectly framed by the Chateau before moving to the internal courtyard. The bride and groom had worked tirelessly with the help of their wedding planner to add those all important personal details to an already impressive courtyard. As the French wine flowed and food enjoyed the wedding speeches got underway. After some amazing speeches and cutting of the Macaron cake the bride and groom made their way to a second courtyard through a tunnel of sparklers before their first dance as husband and wife.
